On the Frostguard R20 the heat outlet is situated just above the ground and is ideal for orchards. The capacity depends a lot on the density of the trees. It covers a surface between 0,7 and 1 hectare. Unlike the Frostbuster the Frostguard is a stationary machine and can therefore be fitted with a auto-start system. When the temperature drops below the preset value, the system starts the engine, ignites the burner and controls the temperature automatically.
On the Frostguard the burner and fan is run by propane gas, butane or LPG cannot be used as it can freeze if temperatures drop to low. Another important advantage of the FrostGuard is that you can start with 1 or 2 machines and buy more during the following years. Therefore, no big initial investment is necessary.
